Held on May 12th meeting of the Jury of the Algarve Photo Salon at the headquarters of Racal Club in Silves. The jury composed by João Taborda , EFIAP ( Portugal), Jovelino Matos Almeida, EFIAP ( Portugal), and Ana Abrão, EFIAP ( Brazil), chose the best images from 2947 papers submitted , 249 competitors from the 46 countries .
A competition only digital images were accepted in total 738 photos of 2947 , 25 % accepted .

A atribuição do prémio ao "Melhor Autor" é encontrado pelo maior número de fotos aceites no Salão.
Em caso de empate é encontrado o vencedor na maior soma de pontos de todas as fotos dos autores em causa.
A FIAP blue badge is awarded to the entrants with the greatest number of acceptances in the salon.
In case of a tie the winner is found in the largest amount of points all photos of the authors concerned.
O Racal Clube é o representante português na Federação Internacional de Arte Fotográfica FIAP.
Como representante nacional o Racal Clube tem como obrigação defender a arte fotografica realizada em Portugal promovendo junto de todos os fotógrafos interessados um conjunto de informações e actividades que permitam o seu reconhecimento internacional através das siglas internacionais FIAP. Os processos são submetidos pelos autores em formulários colocados à disposição pela FIAP e pelo Racal Clube. Serão os mesmos conforme regulamentação internacional submetidos uma unica vez num ano civil.
